She is bold, straightforward and also loves eating food, especially roasted corn and meat, and she became a great influence on Yuu's personality as she was the one who helped him out to recover from his severe depression brought by his younger sister Ayumi's death.ĭue to her past, she claims to not trust anyone but Shunsuke (who isn't named at that point) however as time passes she grows to trust both fellow council members, especially Yuu though they still bicker, this trust grows to the point where she believes his claims of time travel and also entrust him with the protection of ability users willingly giving her ability to him. Nao dislikes when other people fail to acknowledge her efforts. Nao, as part of the student council, is known to be a hardworking, smart, and capable girl she is also narcissistic, self-righteous, short-tempered and a liar. Her school uniform also consists of gray knee-length socks with brown boots. She is often seen wearing her uniform which consists of a red blazer with a yellow bow tie, and a reddish-brown pleated skirt. Her hair is tied in two tails with dark hair ties and has big blue eyes. I'll possible edit my review.Nao is a young girl with long grey hair that occasionally appears pale blonde or white throughout the episodes. When all episodes are released I'll pick it back up and try to finish it. Honestly it could be a hit or miss for the general public, but for me (I already have a wonnky relationship with mainstream anime) this is definitely something I have to clench my teeth for and bite through. We'll see if I actually end up finishing this. There's an underlying semi-original and creative story somewhere in there. It only got 6/10 rating and 3 stars because it still parked some curiosity within me. If you can look past all the copy-paste, and have absolutely nothing else to watch you could enjoy it. It seems like the creators don't know where to go with the story and are just blindely adding elements from other HIGHLY MAINSTREAM anime. It's a new anime, still releasing episodes. But is it so hard to be original? I get it there's a thousand, million, however many animes out there but to take such basic things precisely over? COME ON!! I'm not going to say it's bad, because it's not. If you aren't a total newbie to anime DO NOT watch this. It's up to you if you want to watch it, for someone who wants a serious plotline - skip it. It is again ur typical isekai but with less fan service( which may or may not be a letdown) So if that tickles your isekai bone, do go ahead. The story is pretty bad and the pace, and its very booooooring EXCEPT for the storyline where he tries to find the other guys who got reincarnated as well. The mc has zero personality, he has his moments but those are far and wide, and why the hell does that 16ish-year-old look like a freaking kid of 10 years (the female teacher) But one difference was that he does not seek revenge, which i feel is quite new and like in most of the cases he is bullied by the nobles. this one here follows the trope of a nonroyal dude getting into a royal academy for the noble. It is your typical isekai series, dude dies, gets reincarnated in another world with op powers.

Still check it out if you are interested.īLAND, that's the entire series and mc summarized in one word Check it out and enjoy it would be my recommendation. I may be looking really nit picky here but honestly it's a fair show. Sound track is also par for the course although the music before the end of each episode is a little too exciting sounding in some episodes, like when he's walking down a hall and we queue the electric guitar because walking is exciting. Action scenes could also be given better direction. It would give the overall scene a nice pop. Nothing to special and occasionaly there are less than stellar moments. The side characters are fairly well written too, however the more minor the character the less well written they are.Īnimation is par for the course I would say. Thank goodness because we focus on him almost the entire time. He acts well and that makes him likeable. What is really nice though is that he isn't a prideful guy at all. Character who comes from here uses the skills he already learned to make it elsewhere with the addition of special magic that he has because we need our character to be special. That is a really nice change in my oppinion. The difference is that Rio doesn't turn so bitter.

The Isekai that I would first compare this to is Rising of Shield Hero because we have our fellow from another world treated like crap by those around him. If that peaks your interest, give it a shot. Your perfectly average Isekai in every way, this is reinforced by Rio looking like Kirito in the op, except that the MC is better written than most* (some).
